Geoffrey L. Ricks

Geoffrey is one of the founders of Piedmont Benefits Group, Inc., an employee benefits firm based in Statesville, NC. In addition to overseeing operations of the firm, Geoffrey is responsible for managing health and ancillary insurance programs for small to mid-sized companies throughout North Carolina.

Piedmont Benefits Group, Inc. was founded in 2003 and has seen significant growth over the last 10 years. In 2012, Piedmont Benefits Group, Inc. was ranked as the #1 President’s Club Agency with Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC. In addition to working with corporate clients, Piedmont Benefits Group, Inc. is a top agency for individual programs and was selected to open the Blue Cross Blue Shield retail store in Charlotte (opening Aug 2013).

Prior to 2003, Geoffrey spent 5 years as a Group Sales Specialist with 3 national insurance companies representing employee benefit programs. Geoffrey is a graduate of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Economics. He resides is Davidson, NC with his wife Susan and children, Cooper and Marshall.
