Christopher Blount

Chris is one of the founders of Piedmont Benefits Group, Inc., an employee benefits firm based in Statesville, NC. Chris is responsible for many aspects of Piedmont Benefits Group including client & carrier management. By working with clients throughout NC, he has helped build Piedmont Benefits Group into one of the top agencies in NC.

Piedmont Benefits Group, Inc. was founded in 2003 and has seen significant growth over the last 10 years. In 2012, Piedmont Benefits Group, Inc. was ranked as the #1 President’s Club Agency with Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC. In addition to working with corporate clients, Piedmont Benefits Group, Inc. is a top agency for individual programs and was selected to open the Blue Cross Blue Shield retail store in Charlotte (opening Aug 2013).

Prior to 2003, Chris spent 5 years running a furniture manufacturing company located in Statesville. Chris attended UNC-Charlotte and resides in Statesville with wife Anna and daughters, Carolina and Cate.
